I still believe in the printed word...
...despite those who would suggest otherwise in our increasingly digital existence. There is, for me - someone whose early career was forged in local newspaper offices, tangled typewriter spools and the grease of typeset printing presses - something magical about the tactile nature of books, newspapers and magazines. There is more gravitas and truth to seeing something stamped on paper as opposed to an ever-changing web page. This has been the case for nearly fifteen years as, across a multitude of platforms and genres, I have plied my literary trade. In more recent times, however, I have specialised in most aspects of the luxury lifestyle sphere, particularly given my location in Qatar, one of the world's richest countries per capita. As such I am in a unique position to experience, and write about, the products, services and subjects close to the hearts of the mega-rich sybarites that populate the GCC and the world's luxury hotspots. From Supercars to exclusive hotels; first class flights to opulent megayachts, on this site, you will be able to browse a selection of my published musings on the luxury market. I am, of course, available for freelance work and no subject is off limits. Interested? Then feel free to contact me by any of the means listed here to discuss ideas, rates and deadlines.
